Companion Animal Practices North America seeks an experienced, enthusiastic, and effective Recruitment Coordinator that will work from our Central Corporate Office in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position will work with the Development Group and other departments at CAPNA. The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for identifying all qualified candidates and assisting in moving them through the hiring process. They will also be proactive in ensuring our hospitals remain fully staffed by coordinating with our regional operation directors.
Recruiting Coordinator Overview:
The recruiting coordinator is responsible for all recruitment, hiring and placement of the veterinary professionals employed in all CAPNA hospitals.
Effectively communicate CAPNA’s mission and vision in addition to the features and benefits of joining the CAPNA family of practices to potential candidates.
Maintain timely and accurate database of candidates and contacts using the designated applicant tracking system to build future talent pools and track hiring metrics.
Facilitate interview scheduling process from initial contact to delivering interview schedules
Identify top doctor candidates, conducting interviews, assist in negotiating contracts and ensuring the smooth transition of quality new doctors into our hospitals.
Work closely with the regional operational directors (ROD’s) to understand their needs and ensure the highest level of quality in the candidate experience
Utilize all social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) to build interest in CAPNA by targeting a network of experienced candidates for current and future positions.
Conduct professional reference checks, background checks and administer any testing needed for candidates being considered for open positions
The RC (Recruiting Coordinator) is also responsible for building university relationships, designated doctor retention efforts and positively representing CAPNA at all times. The position reports directly to the Vice-President of Development and will play an integral role in the company.
Candidate must be a self-starter, have excellent time management skills, be outgoing and personable, comfortable with public-speaking, and be able to travel throughout the United States. Overnight travel will be 50% (and upwards as needed).
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) a plus
At least 5 years’ experience within the veterinary community as a DVM, CVPM and/or recruiter.
