We are celebrating our 21st year! In fact, there are less than 25 avian and exotic exclusive practices in the United States. No dogs and cats will be seen here, but you will have the opportunity to work with all types of birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, primates, and exotic companion mammals. We are a 4-doctor, full-service avian and exotic companion animal practice that specializes in providing high quality, compassionate and convenient care for our patients. Two of our DVMs are board certified, with a third pursuing certification. We recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals and we see our clients and patients as extended family. Our practice provides many services such as wellness services, surgery, acupuncture, digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT imaging, an in-house laboratory, and boarding. We are committed to providing the most advanced veterinary diagnostics and treatments in an environment of care and compassion. We place a premium on individual care for each patient. The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of analytical, evaluative, advisory, coordinating, supervisory and technical functions in support of the practice. Areas of responsibility encompass veterinary practice administration, operational plans, training of staff, ordering and stocking supplies and equipment, funds and resource management, data automation, staffing, safety and security, and review/evaluation/analysis of the past performance of the practice. Candidates must have great work-ethic, an outgoing personality, possess strong customer service skills and be team focused. A CVPM would be ideal, but all candidates must have at least 5 years of managerial experience. The ideal candidate will have exotic animal hospital experience.
