Big Dog Ranch Rescue (BDRR) is the largest no -kill dog rescue in the Southeast. Located in sunny palm beach county Fl. Our goal is to give the gift of life to as many dogs as humanly possible, enrich the lives of those who adopt them and in doing so help create a better world. Our 33 acre facility is under construction with 28,000 sq feet of the current campus completed with cage free bunk rooms, and individual puppy cabins. The veterinary hospital is expected to be completed in the next few months. The 4997-sq ft hospital will consist of 2 surgery suites, digital x-ray, isolation wards, and icu wards. Big dog ranch rescue is looking for a full time veterinarian to join our team. The veterinarian is responsible for performing all veterinary services to all animals in accordance with the policies and procedures established by Big Dog Ranch Rescue, which includes: maximizing the use of hospital resources to ensure animal resident health at a minimum cost, providing medical and surgical care and providing quality preventative medicine
The veterinary candidate must be proficient in high quality, high volume spay/neuter surgery and have experience with various surgical procedures including mass removals, amputations, etc. We are looking for a team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills and a passion for rescue.
