Our clients range from single horse owners to large commercial barns. We travel to their site and offer exceptional dental care as well as services focused on general equine wellness. We have structured procedures and safety processes in place to assure the best possible outcomes and an EMR to maintain excellent documentation. We believe we are a great fit for veterinarians looking to provide care for horses while still maintaining a great work/life balance!

Advanced Equine Dentistry Inc. is a mobile dental practice serving the state of Florida. We specialize in both routine and advanced dental procedures as well as offer basic veterinary services such as vaccines, coggins, xrays, and wellness care that can be done during our farm visits. We operate out of a 28ft mobile trailer designed by Richard Grist and equipped with secure stocks, numerous safet...y features including one way entry and exit ramps, power floats, extraction equipment, digital ray equipment, endoscope, and an intraoral camera. Originally trained in England, Richard Grist CEqD has been in practice in the US for over 18 years. He was raised with horses and firmly believes that excellent dental care is a huge component of overall equine wellness. Advanced Equine Dentistry Inc. has more than 6000 clients on their books and is experiencing continuous growth. We treat mostly horses, ponies, donkeys, and mini's, however Richard is comfortable in the care of llamas, alpacas, and zebras too. He believes that equine dentistry is best practiced under light sedation, using well lit speculums, and with power floats to allow for the safest, fastest, and most peaceful experience for both the horses and their owners. Because of this integral belief, a licensed veterinarian is always present for the safety of the horse and as mandated by Florida law. Veterinary care overall on the dental trailer is focused on supervising the sedation process, wellness procedures, and educating horse owners. We are proud to offer a four day work week with no call and no emergencies for our veterinarians. We love to attend horse shows and events to educate future clients about the uniqueness of our practice and we offer additional compensation for any of these weekend events our vets attend.
