We are looking for experienced vet techs/assistants to join our expanding medical team. Experience specific to shelter medicine, high volume spay/neuter would be ideal but is not required. Qualified candidates should be able to safely restrain dogs and cats, collect blood samples and run basic lab work, assist with surgical prep, administer vaccines and medications, and monitor animals while they recover from anesthesia. We perform 40 or more surgeries daily, so this is a fast paced work environment. You must be able to lift 40-50 pounds, get up and down from the floor repeatedly, and stand for long periods of time. You must have a positive attitude, an excellent work ethic, be detail oriented, and be committed to the importance of spay/neuter. You should also be able to provide excellent customer service and be willing to go the extra mile to provide quality care to as many pets as possible.
