Baze Animal Clinic is searching for two licensed technicians who are experienced with animal restraint, laboratory tests, kennel work, phlebotomy, anesthetic monitoring, in-house blood work as well as preparation for transport to a reference laboratory. The candidate must be confident in phlebotomy, peripheral IV catherizations and SQ, IV, and IM injections, septic technique, surgical preparation, surgical assistance and recovery.
The qualified candidates will also be responsible for inventory management, ordering, vendor interactions, and monitoring the controlled substance logs.
Positive client and team interactions are a must. The veterinary technicians should be goal oriented, tenacious, and knowledgeable. Have the ability to handle surprises while remaining calm, read the clients emotions to respond appropriately, and use positive language to promote a positive outcome - no matter the situation.
licensed or licensed eligible (must take certification within six (6) months of hire date.
