Small, established veterinary practice with a loyal clientele base is seeking a self-motivated Veterinary Technician/Assistant 3-5 days per week with some Saturdays required. We are looking for an extremely professional team player who is compassionate, has a strong work ethic, and loves what they do! A successful candidate must be a self starter who doesn't have to be told what to do, works well under pressure, is flexible and reliable, is a good listener and has a positive attitude. Strong client communication skills, and the ability to work successfully with the team of staff and veterinarians are both crucial. Preferred experience includes, but is not limited to, appropriate restraint techniques, surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, running lab work, and radiology. Will consider training the right candidate. Technicians/Assistants are an integral part of the team and play a key role developing treatment plans and patient care.
