It is time to enjoy the beautiful, peaceful North Georgia Mountains! Come join our small-town community and family at Wayside Animal Hospital. We are privately owned with over 25 years of combined veterinary ownership and management experience.  Our practice is innovative and growing and we have an immediate opening for a Mixed-Animal Veterinarian to join our expanding team. At the beginning of this year, we began offering large animal services (horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and llamas) to add to our already well-established small animal practice. This additional service, quickly increased our clientele and we now need another veterinarian to help us manage the growth. We currently have 5 veterinarians and a support staff of 25 employees, and we are growing. We have a variety of services, including Orthopedics and Rehabilitation (laser therapy and physical therapy), sick and wellness exam, soft tissue surgery, general surgery, dental care, digital imaging, sonography, emergency/critical care, puppy/kitten care, behavioral management, nutrition counseling, diagnostics, and hospice/euthanasia. Wayside Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital located in the Jasper, Georgia, the gateway to the North Georgia Mountains. Established in 1978, the hospital is non-corporate and still owned and managed by a local, practicing veterinarian. The hospital is set apart and known in the area for practicing high-quality medicine, with loyal and appreciative clients. Time is allotted for building client relationships with a focus on client education. The staff is warm and like family, both to coworkers and clients. Wayside Animal Hospital offers the quality and services of the large city, but with a small-town feel.
