| CARES (Center for Animal Referral & Emergency Services) is seeking a Neurologist to join our growing team. We are a well-established emergency & multispecialty hospital focused on providing ‘More Great Days’ to our patients and their families We are a close-knit and collaborative group consisting of internal medicine, surgery, critical care, emergency care, anesthesiology, neurology, diagnostic imaging, dentistry and oral surgery, ophthalmology, oncology, and cardiology. Hospital-wide patient rounds are held daily to foster our collaborative approach. We have a large referral base and committed clientele that allows for an interesting variety of cases. CARES offers 1.0T GE MRI, with plans to upgrade to 1.5T or above, and we employ a certified MRI technician full-time. We also use 16-slice CT and rigid and flexible endoscopy. Our building also houses an IDEXX reference laboratory with a full-time clinical pathologist on site. Our 24/7 Emergency and Critical Care Service ensures cohesive patient care at all times. We have a skilled support staff, including several registered veterinary technicians, and technicians specialty-certified in surgery, emergency/critical care, and anesthesia, and we also have a board-certified Veterinary Anesthesiologist on staff full-time. CARES is located in Langhorne, PA, just north of Philadelphia, south of Princeton and New York City, and an easy drive from both the Jersey Shore and the Appalachian Trail. The area offers easy access to the Philadelphia and New York Metro regions, with many of our doctors living in vibrant Center City, Philadelphia.
