Responsibilities include diagnosing/treating animals, stabilizing ill/injured animals, overseeing herd health, humane euthanasia when necessary, managing controlled substances, performing HQHV spay/neuter surgeries for shelter animals, ensure excellent care and the best chance for a positive outcome.
Must possess a valid DEA license; be licensed to practice in Maryland or be willing to obtain licensure; and possess a Maryland CDS license or be willing to obtain licensure.
