Veterinary Technician Supervisor We have a full time, immediate opening for a Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor (RVT, LVT, or CVT). A candidate should have strong interpersonal relationship skills to manage and train our team of Technicians and Assistants. A candidate should be highly motivated and a self-starter. Responsibilities will include the care and treatment of our patients in our hospital. This position also includes assisting our Veterinarians, educating clients, and training/managing staff. Primary responsibilities of our Veterinary Technician Supervisor would be the management of: our team of Veterinary Technicians and Assistants, outpatient care, inpatient care, and our boarding facilities. Secondary responsibilities would include maintaining records, collecting samples from patients, running in-house diagnostics, preparing shipment of samples for outsourced laboratory work, taking and developing x-rays, Laser Treatment, assisting with Ultrasound Diagnostics, pre-surgical prepping, post-surgical recovery, and Prioritizing and Coordinating patients. Job requirements: • Must be a Registered, Licensed, or Certified Veterinary Technician • Previous management experience is a plus • 3 or more years in the Veterinary field • Be able to handle multiple, unrelated tasks simultaneously • Must be able to Prioritize Workflow • Must be able to work independently as well as lead a team and get along well with others • Must be able to properly restrain animals • Must be able to speak, write, and read in English • Must have basic computer literacy skills • Must be able to write legibly • Must be able to lift 50 pounds • Maintain a Professional appearance (Scrubs) • Must be able to work 40 hours a week, which could include Saturday mornings, weekends, or Holidays
