Tiger Tails Animal Hospital is seeking qualified individuals for our Veterinary Technician Assistant position. Assistants will support 6 veterinarians and Technicians in our state-of-the-art hospital in the following areas: exam rooms, surgical, dental and treatment. Staff also rotates through The Cat Clinic at Tiger Tails Animal Hospital, a feline only extension of our practice.
Tiger Tails Animal Hospital offers high quality veterinary care in a modern, well-equipped facility. Strong focus on patient and client care. We are looking for self-starting, motivated, hard-working and energized individuals looking for a fast-paced innovative environment.
Duties would include but aren't limited to: restraining patients for exam/vaccines/blood draws etc, monitoring patients under anesthesia, provide patient care, administer medications, documenting medical records, process client payments etc.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, enjoy working with people, have excellent client communication skills, be comfortable with animals and able to deal with them when stressed, ill or in pain.
The position requires lifting, carrying and restraining animals. Applicants must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as bend or squat.
