This position is "front and center" at our non-profit spay/neuter and wellness clinic. You'll be responsible for answering a very busy phone and email center, while also processing each day's invoicing, rabies certificates, go-home instructions, and payments. Also part of the job is scheduling and confirming appointments. Schedule is Monday thru Thursday, plus every other Saturday each month. If you have a genuine love for animals and a desire to help both animals and people, you will find this job extremely rewarding. You will be a part of a growing organization that saves homeless dogs and cats, while enabling people to keep their pets and provide affordable care for them.
Bright, energetic personality. Friendly and personable. Computer literate - knowledge of Windows, MS Word, Excel. Familiarity with Avimark is a plus. Ability to handle multiple phone lines. Fast, accurate data entry. High level of organization. Team player. Previous veterinary office experience preferred. No allergies to dogs or cats.

Planned PEThood believes that affordable, accessible spay/neuter is the key to solving the homeless pet crisis. Through April 2018 we have performed 41,000 sterilization surgeries at our clinic in Duluth, GA.
In addition to our high-volume, high-quality surgery clinic, we offer low-cost vaccination clinics to the public. We also rescue/adopt pets through our network of foster homes, providing premium care for our foster pets at our own clinic.
Our Trap-Neuter-Return program offers trap loans at no charge and special spay/neuter pricing for community cats. We also have a full-time TNR Coordinator and volunteers to provide trapping assistance when needed.
Our contract with Gwinnett County allows us to provide medical care for animals at the county's shelter; we have a DVM an staff on-site 6 days per week.
