National Spay Alliance if proud to announce we are opening our second clinic in beautiful Rome GA! Our clinic will be located within the brand new PAWS building, a state of the art animal sheltering facility.
National Spay Alliance Foundation is non-profit, our primary clinic is a high quality, high volume spay/neuter and general medical clinic located in Dalton GA. This new clinic will be spay/neuter of shelter and public animals as well as medical care of the shelter population.
As a Shelter Veterinarian, your primary responsibility will be performing and monitoring all aspects of health-related tasks, including physical examinations, diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, and the maintenance of records. The Shelter Veterinarian initiates and follows up on treatment plans, assist in the timely and humane movement of animals through the shelter, and assist staff in disease control protocols and procedures. We are looking for a full time veterinarian experienced in high quality, high volume spay and neuter for owned pets, shelter/rescue animals, and community/feral cats, including pediatric procedures and additional procedures as necessary.
The Floyd County Commissioners have committed to reducing shelter intake and euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals by instituting a high volume spay/neuter program for its facility as well as community. We are very excited to be a part of the initiative.
We are passionate about providing care to families who could not otherwise afford services and priority will go to candidates supporting our mission. Experience in spay/neuter surgery preferred. Humane Alliance training preferred.

Must be currently licensed in the State of Georgia to practice veterinary medicine (or obtain license soon after hiring).
DEA Licensure or ability to obtain one.
