Our nonprofit organization is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role providing great customer service for our pet-loving clients.
We do many good things in our community, including spay/neuter, vaccine clinics, rescue, and community cat TNR. This is a fun and rewarding place to work.
Ensures that the public receives courteous and professional service. Takes control of tense situations, handles client complaints, and ensures clients are treated with respect and professionalism by all clinic staff.
Monitors accounts receivable, makes payment arrangements with funding agencies.
Hires, trains and supervises office and kennel staff
Ensures that veterinary software and related data infrastructure is operating effectively; manages files and related documents
Processes payroll and handles HR functions

Must have previous supervisory experience, preferably in a veterinary setting.
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel), Google mail and documents. Quick learner on veterinary software - preference given to applicants familiar with Avimark.
Additional Salary Information: Salary depends on experience and qualifications; may be paid as exempt management position

Planned PEThood believes that affordable, accessible spay/neuter is the key to solving the homeless pet crisis. Through April 2019 we have performed 49,500 sterilization surgeries at our clinic in Duluth, GA.
In addition to our high-volume, high-quality surgery clinic, we offer low-cost vaccination clinics to the public. We also rescue/adopt pets through our network of foster homes, providing premium care for our foster pets at our own clinic.
Our Trap-Neuter-Return program offers trap loans at no charge and special spay/neuter pricing for community cats. We also have a full-time TNR Coordinator and volunteers to provide trapping assistance when needed.
Our contract with Gwinnett County allows us to provide medical care for animals at the county's shelter; we have a DVM an staff on-site 6 days per week.
