We have an immediate opening for a cheerful and talented person that truly cares about our clients and their pets as an experienced veterinary receptionist. We all come to work as a vocation and not just a job! Your ability to enable clients to have a more positive experience than they expect is what should motivate you every day!
You need to have been successfully employed in a veterinary hospital with high level of recommendation from your prior employer and hospital manager, preferably as a customer service representative. You will need to cheerfully welcome by name our clients and their pets by name as they phone in, come in, and check out. You will need computer skills to retrieve electronic faxes and emails and import them into our AVImark veterinary software as well as communicating with clients via phone, PC text, and email. The job entails working 4 days of the week and alternating Saturday mornings.
About Hill High Animal Hospital
Fast growing small animal veterinary medical and surgical practice opened over 2 years ago in custom built facility operated by Dr David Tribby UGA '64 and Dr Mark Tribby UGA '88. Dr.'s David and Mark have practiced veterinary medicine in the Augusta GA area since 1967 and 1990 respectively. Our newest veterinarian, Dr Emily Garnto Martin joined us May of 2019. Our new hospital was designed to comfortably support 3 to 4 full time veterinarians in the future while maintaining a more private setting to allow a close and personal relationship with clients. Each DVM practices high quality medicine without the corporate off site management pressures! We have in house Idexx clinical pathology instruments and the HD Cuattro digital radiography system. Our dedicated surgical suite employs the ADS 2000 ventilator anesthesia machine for more safe anesthesia experiances. Our support staff is second to none in experience, dedication, and personality! The new hospital is located in one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S. and is part of the 2nd largest metropolitan statistical area in Georgia. Augusta is home of the Masters golf tournament and a 2 hour drive from Atlanta/north Georgia mountains as well as Savannah, GA, and the coast.
