For 50 years, Lashley Animal Hospital has served the animals of the St. Louis Metropolitan Area through compassionate acute and preventative care of companion animals. Our multi doctor team seeks a Veterinarian interested in either full-time or part-time work.
We are looking for someone who is willing to go and above and beyond to provide loving care to their patients and families. A veterinarian who believes in client education and follow up is a must. Our practice focuses on preventative care through annual examinations and vaccinations, treatment of acute injuries and illness, long-term care plans for chronic injuries or illness, skilled surgery, nutrition and wellness education, dental care, and much more. Our facility includes in-house digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in house blood/fecal/urine laboratories, cold laser, surgical facilities, and an on-site pharmacy. After hours emergencies are referred to nearby emergency care facilities.
Based in the continually growing metro east community of Swansea, Illinois, we are an easy 20 minute commute by car from downtown St. Louis. We have beautiful neighborhoods, excellent school districts, parks and recreation areas, and, best of all, a population of devoted pet owners. We are considering both practicing veterinarians and new or pending graduates for multiple opportunities.
We are looking for:
Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine or pending licensure. (Illinois license not required for consideration)
Will gladly consider 2020 graduates and offer strong mentorship
Diagnostic skills with the ability to assess and treat symptoms.
General surgical skills. Advanced surgical skills are a plus.
Ability to comfortably engage with clientele.
Someone that will go above and beyond for their patients.
