The Animal Doctors Veterinary Clinic is a looking for an additional small animal/exotics associate to add to our experienced team. We are a smaller but progressive growing practice in upstate New York that provides top quality pateint care and client services. We have a skilled support staff of licensed technicians and assistants utilizing a Low Stress/Fear Free practice philosophy. We offer wellness and preventive care, full service in-house and outside lab diagnostics and telemedicine, digital radiography and ultrasonography, general and dental surgery, acupuncture and massage, pain managment, laser therapy and compassionate end of life care and counseling. Competitive salaray, 401K, paid CE and health benefits with a family oriented practice emphasis. No weekends or nights and shared emergency with other local clinics that is equivalent to only 2 nights on call every 4-6 weeks with technician assistance triaging emergencies. We offer a supportive mentoring environment for the new or recent graduate as well as flexibility for more experienced veterinarians wanting a part time option. Opportunities for growing the practice into the exotics field as well as additional areas of care. Watertown and its surrounding areas provide many outdoor recreational opportunities all year round, is one hour from Syracuse or the Canadian border and is an ideal community for raising a family.
Successful completion of the NAVLE and New York State Licensure.

The Animal Doctors Veterinary Clinic is a fully staffed small animal veterinary hospital providing the latest and most up to date veterinary care for our patients and clients in northern New York (Watertown and surrounding areas). We offer wellness and preventative care, general soft tissue surgery services, basic and advanced dental surgery services, acupuncture, Tui Na (massage) and pain managment treatments, therapeutic laser, digital radiography and ultrasonography with 24 hour telemedicine consultation, in house and commercial laboratory diagnostic services, compassionate care and end of life counseling and grief support services. We currently have 2 full time veterinarains with over 10 years experience and a skilled licensed veterinary techncian team and veterinary support staff with extensive knowledge and mentoring experience. We were one of the first practices to adopt the Low Stress/Fear Free practice philosophy and work in connection with local behavior specialists when pets are transitioning after adoption or purchase. Several members of our team are involved in community outreach such as North Country Pet Adoption Services, Paws4Potter (canine cancer awareness) and Cl...ick To Zen (behavior/training).
