Paws Humane Society of Columbus, GA is the regional leader in animal welfare. Receiving an average of over 1,800 animals per year, over the past three years Paws Humane Society has transformed from an animal shelter to a nationally recognized humane organization.
Paws serves as a Pets for Life Model for The Humane Society of the United States and also serves as a partner with the ASPCA and Best Friends Animal Society in Field Investigations and Response team assisting animals during disaster response.
Paws offers many progressive programs: a pet food pantry, low-cost spay and neuters, vaccine clinics, retail pet supplies, volunteer program, humane education for adults and children, alternatives to pet intake, lost and found pet services, community cat program, humane law enforcement and, of course, high-quality pet care for displaced and homeless pets.
We are adding to our passionate and committed 30-person team seeking a registered veterinary technician. Our culture aligns with The Five Freedoms for Animals and focuses on creativity, collaboration, and results!
Paws not only emphasizes high-quality animal care, we also focus on high-quality people care.
Current registration in the state of Georgia as a Registered Veterinary Technician is required.
