Tiger Tails Animal Hospital in Duluth, GA has an opening for a Registered Veterinary Technician. Technicians will support 7 veterinarians in our state-of-the-art hospital in the following areas: exam rooms, surgical, dental and treatment. This critical position is the primary medical support for the veterinarians as well as the key communication point for clients. The hospital has a strong focus on excellent patient and client care. Technicians will also have the opportunity to work at The Cat Clinic at Tiger Tails Animal Hospital, a feline only extension of our practice.
We are looking for self-starting, motivated, hard-working and energized individuals looking for a fast-paced innovative environment.
Duties include but are not limited to: proper animal restraint, blood draws, IV catheter placement, dental cleanings, assist in surgery, patient care, documenting medical records etc.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Preferred -Licensed Veterinary Technician by the State of Georgia. Will consider unlicensed candidates with previous veterinary medical experience.
PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work requires lifting and carrying animals; walking or standing for extended periods or time; frequently working in a bent position
