| Powder Springs Animal Clinic is seeking a full time Hospital Manager. Work daily to develop an efficient and effective Hospital Support Team, by fostering an environment of trust, teamwork and accountability. Structure The Hospital Manager works in tandem with the Medical Director and reports directly to the VP of Operations and Regional Manager. Responsibilities: Staff Management - Supervises the staff within all hospital support departments.
- Responsible for timely performance feedback, skill and management development of all Hospital personnel.
- Participates in the recruitment and interview process, makes recommendations for hire.
- Responsible for new hire paperwork.
- Orients and trains new clinic staff to the hospital and duties.
- Reviews work performance of direct reports, constructively delivers feedback, resolves routine personnel issues and conducts timely performance appraisals.
- Oversees Employee annual performance evaluation process.
- Writes policies/procedures relating to all technical aspects of the hospital and presents for approval.
- Makes recommendations for recognition, promotion, merit increases, performance counseling and termination.
- Makes suggestions for process improvement and champions change and improvements.
Staff Scheduling - Manages schedules for technical and administrative staff, coordinates the DVM and Support schedules with the Medical Director
- Monitors Workforce Management for missed punches, and management of overtime hours daily.
- Achieves and Maintains all labor goals.
Administrative: - Works with the PetVet Care Centers Support team to ensure compliance with all administrative responsibilities.
- Participates in the annual budget creation process.
- Resolve client issues where appropriate (when attending DVM has not been effective).
- Reviews revenue, labor and employee issues with thePetVet Leadership on the weekly conference call.
- Ensures daily financial information is accurate and is responsible for all local accounting functions.
- Reviews and maintains accuracy of billing and oversees charge capturing.
- Oversees the management of the inventory and assures proper documentation and systems are in place.
Education Four year Degree in Business or Health Science. CVPM or MHA is helpful, but not required. |
