Equine exclusive, small animal exclusive, or small animal/equine (mix) associates sought for progressive, growing, 2 location small animal/equine hospital. Must be client and patient focused with a willingness to introduce new ideas and collaborate with peers. We are looking for doctors who are new graduates or those leaving internships and residencies that are interested in general practice but would also like to pursue a special interest that will broaden the offerings of the hospitals. Excellent support staff, work hours, salary and benefits. Emergency care is in-house, through an affiliated hospital and for equine through a cooperative multi-practice rotation.
We currently offer Small Animal digital radiography, cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, in-house laboratory, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, laser and dentistry in addition to routine care.
Equine offers digital radiography, ultrasound, gastroscopy, endoscopy, cryosurgery, dentistry, general surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, wellness and vaccination programs, reproductive care, pediatric medicine, sports medicine, ambulatory and in hospital options. We serve performance horses: western pleasure, reiners, barrel, English, hunter, dressage, thoroughbred and standardbred racehorses, Amish buggy and draught horses, and a few donkeys and mules. We are near multiple referral centers. This practice offers a broad based general equine practice that for the right veterinarian will allow exposure to many different kinds of medical and surgical cases. Great exposure to the ins and outs of general equine practice, case management and client communications. We have the opportunity to expand our surgical case load.

Although located in central Delaware our equine department serves the entire Delmarva peninsula. Our small animal area is a steadily growing suburban community that manages to retain its ties to its agricultural roots.
