Colorado Equine Veterinary Services is searching for two veterinarians to fill associate positions with our practice.  CEVS is a 90% equine practice with the other species including all other large animals, located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado area.  We are well equipped with digital radiography, digital ultrasound, 3m endoscopy, in house blood machines, ESWT unit, well stocked ambulatory vehicles, and hospital facilities along with support and office staff to assist the doctors in the customer and patient care.  We are a 3 doctor practice looking to add another full time veterinarian to our staff.  Our patients are made up of a wide variety of disciplines including western performance horses, english sport horses and back yard pets.  There is ample opportunity in the area as well for someone that has an interest treating other farm animals.

The individuals that we are looking for need to be a highly motivated, very responsible person interested in practicing high quality equine medicine and surgery both in an ambulatory and hospital setting.  Internship completion or at least 2-3 years experience in clinical practice is desired.  Highly motivated new graduates may be considered for an internship type position for the first year.  They must have a Colorado Veterinary License or be able to obtain a Colorado Veterinary License in a timely manner once the position is accepted.  Some after hours emergency duty will be required in this position.

Our focus is the health and well being of our patients as well as our staff, and customer service to our clients. We strive to provide the most current treatment recommendations and care for our patients. With a hospital facility, DR radiography, digital ultrasound, 3 meter video endoscope, in house lab machines, IRAP and PRP centrifuge, and well stocked ambulatory vehicles, we are able to diagnose and treat most of the disease conditions that are presented. CEVS is a 90% equine practice with other cases made up of small ruminants, swine, cattle and small animals. We are in an area that is underserved by food animal veterinarians which lends for opportunities is this area of practice if a veterinarian has an interest in this type of work. The Pikes Peak Region also offers many opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast and is in the top 5 of places to live in the United States.
