Practice Manager We are seeking a Practice Manager for our privately-owned, Long Beach area veterinary clinic. This general practice clinic is one of three in our hospital group, seeing the highest volume in terms of patients and revenue. Beginning in January 2022, we’ll be adding a 24/7 emergency department, and applicants with prior management experience in emergency medicine are highly desirable. Our hospital is currently undergoing a major expansion and renovation, and with the addition of an emergency medicine department in early 2022, we are in need of strong leadership to manage the next stage of our development. Your Skills and Qualifications - Previous practice management experience at a large veterinary hospital, especially those with an emergency department. Your experience should include:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze revenue trends and capitalize on opportunities for growth; experience designing social media campaigns.
- Implementing workflow efficiencies and promoting excellence in customer service
- Motivating doctors and staff to perform at the highest levels of professionalism, as individuals and as team members
- Leading staff development initiatives
- OSHA compliance; inventory management; facilities maintenance
- Client relations and community outreach
- Exemplary behavior in all matters of hospital leadership
- Dedication to Our Mission and Core Values
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or similar field
- CVPM designation is a plus.
