Join the team at our rapidly expanding non-profit organization. Planned PEThood operates a high-volume, high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter clinic, as well as affordable weekend vaccine clinics. We also offer a robust foster-based adoption program that adopts around 800 pets each year. We are feral-friendly, with a full-time TNR program, and we manage veterinary services at Gwinnett County’s shelter.

 We are in need of an experienced veterinarian to join our team at our location in Duluth, GA.  Job duties include high volume surgery (weekdays) and wellness (two Saturdays a month) as well as seeing foster patients for our rescue.  Surgeries are mostly spay/neuter (including cryptorchid castrations, pyometra spays and late term spay abort) but some other procedures like amputations or enucleations are done on our foster animals. Familiarity with shelter medicine and high volume spay neuter is important for this role but all interested candidates will be considered.  This position is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week to include one to two Saturday per month.

 We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Previous experience with a high-volume spay/neuter model is preferred but not required.
