Anamosa Veterinary Clinic is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!
The Anamosa Veterinary Clinic is located in rural Iowa but is approximately 25 minutes from the Cedar Rapids metropolis. This allows us to provide an array of livestock calls and to support an ever-growing need for small animal appointment services. Our practice is broken down into about 20% large animal and 80% small animal. You would have the opportunity to break your day into a mixture of large and small animal appointments, surgery, and drop off appointments. We offer emergency services but this work load is split between 8 veterinarians. On top of offering mixed animal appointments our practice offers the following services:
Orthopedic surgeries such as TPLOs, lateral sutures, luxating patellas, pinning and plating
Digital and dental x-rays
Surgical laser procedures
Bovine embryo transfer
Appointments in our haul-in livestock facility
Our ideal candidate would thrive in a fast-paced, productive environment, seeking to efficiently provide quality care at a cost effective price for patients. Our appointments are quick-paced and candidates that thrive under this environment have a large earning potential. Our culture aims to make the client and their pets come first. Taking care of the client will in the long run take care of our staff and business. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401K plan. All experience levels welcome to apply! Open to mixed animal or small animal only. For more information please visit https://www.anamosaveterinaryclinic.com/.

About Anamosa Veterinary Clinic
The veterinary profession isn’t like any other—it’s the only field predicated on the love of a patient who can’t tell you what’s hurting and can only look to you for help. It takes a special kind of person to do that job, or the jobs supporting that job. NVA doesn’t create those special people—we find them, cultivate them, and give them resources and opportunities to do what only they can do. Whether treating patients, managing a pet resort, or serving hospitals from NVA’s Support Center, NVA’s animal professionals are caring people, united by a love of animals. NVA is proud to honor that connection and is committed to serving our team members by providing them with the tools, support, and freedom to be the professionals they’ve always wanted to be.
