Are you looking for a challenging and diverse caseload where you can REALLY learn the nuts and bolts of private practice?
Are you looking to work with a well oiled team that fully supports your work as a veterinarian and allows you to be a doctor and not a glorified technician?
Are you looking for a practice that allows you to be compassionate help the less fortunate, but STILL make a great income that is NOT production based?
Are you looking for a place that feels as much like a family as it does like a workplace?
Are you looking for a practice where you aren't bored stiff with seeing vaccination appointments nonstop?
If you answered yes to all or some of these questions, you should consider Budget Vet. I KNOW the name suggests a low quality experience, but I suggest you read our FaceBook and Google reviews. We do not just offer vaccinations and spay/neuter. We have full bloodwork suite, including same day progesterone and clotting profiles. We have EXCELLENT DR digital x-ray, ultrasound and IV fluid pumps, digital microscope and cloud based practice software that allows uploading of videos, photomicrographs, x-rays and more. All of the staff is REQUIRED to complete the GVMA CVA program. We take education of staff as seriously as that of the doctor.
We do a heavy canine reproductive load in addition to soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. We are not a referral center, but we do many surgeries that other clinics send to specialists. We try to offer those who want to care for their pets, but can't afford $5,000 a good option. We can't do it all and there are limits, but we try to offer a wide range of services and surgeries. We do not do boarding or grooming because what hospital have you been to that was also a hotel and salon?
Must be a licensed veterinarian in the state of Georgia or eligible to become licensed within a few months of hire.
You must have an open mind and be willing to try different approaches to problems. You must be able to work with a fantastic team that supports you 100%.
You must be able to formulate treatment plans for a range of conditions and be able to learn good surgical technique and become proficient at it.
You must be able to show up on time and be ready to work every day. This is fast paced practice. Honestly, if you are looking for a practice where you see 5 patients a day, it's probably not for you.
