Are you looking for an opportunity to provide high quality veterinary care, with the support and mentorship you need to learn and grow as a doctor, all while working as a part of a fun and motivated team? Please come see us! We are flexible and we welcome a part time or full-time veterinarian!
43rd Ave Animal Hospital is a small animal, privately owned, general practice with a motivated team. We are also AAHA accredited and part of VMG! Located in Glendale, Arizona; we are within a 30-minute drive from downtown Phoenix, Cave Creek and Scottsdale where all the night life, comedy clubs and sporting action take place. If you love the winter weather, take a 2-hour drive north and you will be able to play in snow, and ski at Snow Bowl during the winter months. Our area offers great outdoor activity in any direction you pick!
We care for our patients and clients as family. We pride ourselves in providing the absolute best for each and every pet. Our doctors are supported by a large team of highly dedicated client service representatives, veterinary nurses, CVT's and veterinary assistants. Our doctor to staff ratio is 1:5. Our hospital has all of the equipment you need to manage your cases including, two Companion cold laser systems, digital radiography, dental radiography, S7 ultrasound, and in house cbc/chem/ua analyzers. We operate primarily as a day admission hospital allowing you to work up your patients without time constraints or clients waiting in the office for treatment plans.
You will have the opportunity to care for pets, create exceptional client experience, and contribute new ideas to the practice. You will also be given the freedom to develop your skills in areas of your interest. Our doctors currently offer a variety of specialized services including echocardiogram, abdominal ultrasound, acupuncture, and orthopedic surgery. We are looking for an associate veterinarian who has exceptional communication skills and is highly skilled at using the problem oriented approach to patient care. We value a positive attitude and expect our associates to not only be willing to learn, but also be willing to coach and teach our team. We need someone who is willing to learn and grow with the practice, work as a member of a team, and lead by example! We offer a combination of a base salary plus commission; base pay ranges between $110,000 to $150,000, with strategic bonuses!
We are unique in that we combat the stresses of veterinary practice by allowing for a little fun and weirdness - we truly are able to act as family with each other. We even have an annual group camping trip and other fun events to have fun at! Every member of our team is provided with a multitude of opportunities to further their skills and knowledge and encouraged to take part in continuing education each year. Our goal is to ensure every member of our team has a healthy work life balance – we do not have on call or weekend work hours, we are strictly Monday through Friday.
