Established small animal practice located in the Forsyth County portion of Gainesville, Georgia, just a few steps from Lake Lanier and at the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, seeks a full-time associate veterinarian to join our hospital family.   

We are looking for a compassionate and care-minded associate with surgical skill or interest, good diagnostic ability, and the capacity to handle emergency situations. Dental experience is a plus. The ability to communicate patiently, effectively, and respectfully with staff and pet owners is essential. Bethel Animal Hospital has excellent technicians and support staff.  We strive to provide a relaxed, safe environment for visiting furry family members, staff, and owners. Appointment slots are 30 minutes to ensure the best care for our patients and open communication between ourselves and our clients.

Laboratory diagnostics include Antech, Heska (in-house), IDEXX (in-house), and university labs throughout the country as deemed appropriate. We have a state-of-the-art surgical suite, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, dental suite, and ultrasound. Management software is Vetter and extremely user-friendly.

We are open six days a week, closed Sundays. We refer after hour emergency concerns to a local emergency clinic. We are offering flexible working conditions and encourage a well-rounded work/life balance.

The compensation package includes:

$10,000 sign-on bonus, 23% ProSal, health benefits, life insurance, paid sick and vacation time.
