Dunes Animal Hospital, a progressive and modern companion animal practice, is seeking an enthusiastic and team oriented associate veterinarian to join our growing three doctor practice.
The ideal candidate is personable, compassionate, confident, hardworking, and skilled in companion animal medicine. We welcome both experienced individuals and new grads to apply. Those interested in part time are also welcome to apply.
Dunes Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories.
The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, an in-hospital surgery suite, in-house digital x-ray capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area. At Dunes Animal Hospital, we are passionate about providing exceptional care and service to our patients and their families and providing an environment that our staff can be successful in.
Our practice is open Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Benefits include but are not limited to: health insurance, retirement plan, paid personal leave, continuing education stipend and professional membership dues.
We are located in beautiful southeast South Dakota in the small community of Dakota Dunes. The area provides excellent outdoor activities including camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and water sports. We are conveniently located just minutes from Sioux City, Iowa.
