Austin , TX | Live Music Capital Seeks Rock Star Vet
Austin Vet Hospitalis a six-doctor small animal general practice located in central Austin near the University of Texas. We have been chosen “Best Vet in Austin” and we recently celebrated our 6th year in our brand-new clinic. We continue to grow and are looking for a great veterinarian to add to our team that includes well experienced clinicians with a variety of special interests. We’re open to full-time or part-time hours.
You will have work life balance; be able to be home for dinner, take a walk at lunch and have a day off during the week to run errands.
You will have 30 min set aside for each appointment, have 90 min lunches, and refer all after hours care to local emergency clinics.
Saturday hours are very limited and shared amongst the doctors.
This position does not require any surgical or dental cases (but if that is something you love, we can certainly discuss!)

We have a great team of experienced and skilled support staff, digital radiology, ultrasound, electronic medical records, and all the equipment you’d expect at a high-quality clinic. Skills and Basic Qualifications
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
Manages time and tasks appropriately.
Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
