Veterinary Associate: Small animal Integrative practice
Welcome to the "Veterinary Wellness Center." We are a privately owned small animal practice specializing in integrative medicine. Do you want to be part of a practice offering alternative options while providing progressive care in a state-of-the-art facility? Have you thought about learning acupuncture, herbal medicine, physical therapy, or chiropractic? Have you already learned one or more of these modalities but do not have the opportunity to practice your skills? We have developed a small animal integrative medicine fellowship program designed to provide hands-on practice and mentorship in a fully integrative small animal clinic as you earn your Master's in Integrative Medicine. We offer full internal medicine consults with specialists available, onsite blood analyzers, full laboratory services, digital radiology, fully equipped surgical and dental suites, digital dental radiology, physical therapy as well as acupuncture, herbal and nutritional therapy. Typical appointments allow ample time to connect with patients and clients. Our clients are dedicated and appreciative of our integrative approach.
All of these services are in a newly remodeled (2021) light and bright building with all the new equipment you need to practice the highest quality medicine. We provide the best of both worlds as we are sought out for our integrative approach using alternative modalities as appropriate to provide the best care to our patients and ourselves. Although we specialize in acupuncture, herbal, nutritional therapy, and rehabilitation services, we provide traditional services and pride ourselves on preventative care. Our clients are dedicated to the holistic philosophy, appreciating access to the highest quality of care in one location. All with access to an experienced and involved owner who is on a mission to make veterinary medicine the "best job" for you.
We are located in the beautiful NH Seacoast, only about one hour from Boston or the gorgeous outdoor playground in the White Mountains and only 15 minutes to the beach. We offer ample time off to enjoy your surroundings, friends, and family. We are focused on your well-being by incorporating regular team time( ok, it's Yoga together..) as well as regular staff meetings to ensure the health of the team and practice. The longevity and health of our staff are a priority as we know we can't help our patients if we are not healthy ourselves.
We would love to help you grow and develop your professional interests in dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, and/or alternative modalities. New graduates are welcome with open arms with a commitment to provide hands-on support. As the owner with over 25 years in the industry, I am excited to support a new grad or someone looking to make a change. The practice name embodies the philosophy of "Veterinary Wellness." Help us to develop an environment dedicated to supporting ourselves professionally, mentally, and physically while we help our community as we do what we love.
The hours are approximately 27-36 hours per week (3-4 days per week), with no overnights and an excellent benefits package that includes extensive time off, insurance benefits, and savings plans as well as a generous budget for continuing education. We want to welcome you to our "wellness team."
