Alburtis Animal Hospital is a well-established, 3 doctor, progressive, independent, small animal practice located southwest of Allentown, Pennsylvania, in the beautiful Lehigh Valley. We have an ideal location that is within a 2 hour drive to New York City and a 1 hour drive to Philadelphia, yet we have a distinctly small town feel to our hospital. Full or Part-Time Veterinarian Wanted
In-person mentorship with 2 full-time experienced veterinarians who love to teach and who appreciate the enthusiasm of new graduates! Virtual mentorship also provided via MentorVet.
Signing bonus. Base pay of $100,000 - $140,000 per year based on experience level for full-time with potential for additional generous monthly bonus based on a percentage of gross production. Stipend for moving expenses. Medical, dental & vision insurance provided. Paid vacation and paid time off for paid Continuing Education.

Our hospital is well-equipped with digital radiography & dental radiographs, ultrasound, in-house lab, and fully computerized medical record system with full online access from anywhere with an internet signal.
A new veterinarian should be willing to tackle basic surgical procedures, medical workups, and wellness care for our patients. Our doctors work collaboratively as a team, and we enjoy a great degree of open dialogue about day-to-day case management. Based on their comfort level, our doctors also can enjoy a high degree of independence in case management.
We have good relationships with and utilize a variety of specialists, both at local and regional referral centers as well as in-house specialists as needed for more extensive workups.
Each doctor has one weekday off each week and evening shifts are divided among all doctors. Evening office hours are until 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, until 6pm on Wednesdays, and until 6pm on Fridays. No on-call or weekends required as there are several 24-hour facilities to whom we refer after hours and weekend patients. We offer tremendous flexibility in designing a weekly schedule.
