There is mentorship available to new grads, and we all learn from each other on a daily basis. Typically at least 3 doctors working at once so we're always able to collaborate on tough cases and support each other during tough times. Qualities you possess:
An awesome attitude! Our team works together really well and we want you to be a part of that. An optimistic attitude goes a long way here!
A DVM degree, preferably having worked in clinical practice, but welcome new grads as well!
Medical and surgical skills
Willingness to work emergencies (during office hours). Our clinic DOES accept walk-in's and emergencies, so we want you to be prepared to go-with-the-flow.
GREAT communication skills (or a willingness to learn and develop them!) to interact well with both clients and staff
