Catsnip, a mobile veterinary clinic, is looking for veterinarians for part-time or relief positions. Catsnip has been providing low-cost spay and neutering services for felines throughout the metro Atlanta area since 2003. We offer high quality spays and neuters as well as testing, vaccines and micro-chipping. Our worksites rotate through several locations on a monthly schedule servicing house pets, community cats and ferals.
Catsnip operates Monday through Friday, with Veterinarian hours typically from 9:00 am through 3:00 pm, depending on clinic size
A typical clinic size is 30 cats, with an eventual goal of 30 to 40 cats per day (maximum 20 to 22 females per clinic day, plus an open quantity of males)
The Catsnip mobile clinic has 35 cages with multiple sizes. Equipment includes DTK for anesthetics; IOS at the prep and surgery tables; pulse ox machine; emergency drugs (e-tubes, IV cath supplies, breathing bag)
Additional on-board staff includes an experienced surgical tech and administrative person
Catsnip currently rotates through the following locations on a monthly basis: Cartersville; Cleveland; Clarkesville; Dallas; Griffin; Marietta; McDonough; Monticello; Snellville; Woodstock; Stone Mountain. Veterinarians will be able to choose their work locations
Veterinarians will receive a competitive daily rate for services

Ideal applicants:
Will be experienced with high-volume feline spays and neuters
Comfortable interacting with our clients as needed
Have a valid Georgia veterinary license and malpractice insurance
Will be available for at least five days per month on a rotating schedule
