***This is NOT an entry level position. You must have at least a full year of surgery experience to be considered.
This position is for an EXPERIENCED veterinary technician. The ideal applicant will have had at least a full year of surgical experience. Must be compassionate, loyal and hardworking. The full time shift is generally Monday-Friday (off 1 Friday per month) 6:00am-3:30pm and 1 Saturday vaccine clinic per month from 7:30am -12:30pm. The right candidate will enjoy a team-oriented, fast-paced surgical team in a high volume spay/neuter setting. Requirements are strong communication skills, good work ethic as well as strong technical skills. Animal restraint, placing IV catheters, monitoring general anesthesia, administering drugs and or vaccines, scrubbing and assisting in surgery and recovery of pets, cleaning surgery rooms, instruments, and kennels. Must be current with sterilization procedures and able to carry 50+lbs with assistance . You must be compassionate and full of love and patience for our fur babies.
