Animal Urgent Care is excited to announce that we are opening a second location in Park Hill this Fall! We currently have day shifts, overnight shifts, or rotating shifts available.
If you have a great sense of humor, practice high quality medicine and surgery, are compassionate and skilled communicator, respect and appreciate an extremely committed and competent staff, and love the thrill of ER you will fit right in.
We are interested in speaking with experienced ER DVMs, internship trained DVMs, or GP DVMs who have an interest in emergency medicine.
We use EzyVet and Smartflow software, and have a focus on paperlite, environmentally friendly practices. We have a boarded radiologist available daytime radiology reviews and for ultrasounds on weekday afternoons. IDEXX is available for radiology reviews overnight.
Our goal is to practice high quality medicine in a comfortable environment that puts our clients and patients at ease. Since the inception of AUC, we have maintained our core value of affordable emergency care for our surrounding community.
Benefits include health insurance, 401K retirement plan with partial match, biannual scrubs, CE allowance, dues and license allowance, VECCS, AVMA PLIT, VIN, Vet Girl, generous employee pet discounts, paid time off, and competitive salary that is not dependent upon commission. You are paid for every hour you work, including records.
For the right person, we are happy to discuss sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and potential buy-in opportunities in the future. We are scheduled to open a second hospital in Spring 2022. Come join our team in sunny Colorado! We are located conveniently between Boulder and Denver, and about 1.5 hours from skiing.
NVA Overview:NVA is a growing community of general practice clinics, emergency hospitals, equine practices, specialty hospitals, and pet resorts across five countries. Our doctors and pet care teams share best practices, medical knowledge, innovation, and insights. This collaborative approach allows each individual practice and pet resort to do what they do best: service their local community with compassionate, best-in-class care and medicine, to enhance the lives of the animals they love while backed by the support, stability, and leadership of NVA.
Compassion-First and NVA recognize that we share deep-rooted values and priorities. For years, our dedication to Specialty and Emergency medicine has been a common background.
Our groups have long shared the belief that the best patient care comes from championing hospitals in their local communities and supporting the practices and culture that have made them successful. We believe in empowering veterinarians and their teams with deeper resources so they can do more of what’s already working.
Combining our strengths gives us the opportunity to make a lasting and positive impact on the profession, our people, and the care of animals.
As one of the only dedicated Specialty and Emergency groups in the industry, NVA Compassion-First is the trusted partner of hospital teams who are looking for more—more resources to advance their medicine, a greater sense of belonging, and increased opportunities to care for their patients, clients and people.
