Red Rocks Animal Center in Lakewood, CO is looking for a full-time GP, surgery focused, Veterinarian to join our team. A great opportunity for someone looking for a position or mentorship in orthopedic procedures, as well as many advanced soft tissue surgeries.
As a the surgery focus Veterinarian, you would provide high-quality medicine with practice limited to surgery. You would have a diverse surgical caseload ranging from complex to general procedures. Our hospital, also has a strong emphasis on orthopedics.
We are a busy practice and have a wide variety of cases each day. There is never a dull moment at Red Rocks! We are flexible with scheduling, but this position is for surgery focused shifts (half surgery, half GP negotiable). Red Rocks Animal Center has been a part of the Lakewood community since 1998, providing compassionate and diligent veterinary care. As a full-service hospital, we offer a wide range of core veterinary services to keep patients in great health, from wellness exams and vaccinations to dental care and internal medicine. We also offer other medical and surgical services that go beyond standard vet care so that our patient’s health care needs are always being met.
Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound.
We understand the importance of a well-trained support staff and have technicians proficient in anesthetic monitoring and pre and post-op management. Our technicians also provide 24 hour monitoring of all hospitalized patients.

High earning potential: Base salary range $110,000 - $130,000
