VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd has an opportunity for a Veterinary Oncologist or Registrar to join their team at Perth Veterinary Specialists!
Perth Veterinary Specialists is one of Western Australia’s most established and largest private specialist veterinary practice with specialists in oncology, medicine, anaesthesia, surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging and emergency & critical care.
The clinic is equipped with in-house haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and blood gas analyser, a full diagnostic imaging suite (ultrasound, radiology, CT & MRI), fully equipped surgical suites and an endoscopy/rhinoscopy tower. The oncology department has a dedicated pharmacy and fume hood, electroporation unit and access to external beam radiation; with access to nuclear medicine (including SPECT/PET CT). We have two Australian board-certified oncologists, a resident and dedicated oncology nurses.

The clinic is located 10kms (6 miles) from the Perth CBD, 5kms (3 miles) from Scarborough Beach (pictured) and 15kms (9 miles) from the iconic Cottesloe Beach. The Swan Valley wine district and Perth Hills are an easy 30 minute drive, with beautiful views and food. The picturesque South West, including the world renowned Margaret River wine region, and Rottnest Island (famous for Quokkas!) make for an easy long weekend away.
Renumeration is competitive and negotiable. Full time (4 days per week), part time and locum contracts are available. Visa and relocation expenses are also offered for long term commitments. Up to 5 weeks annual leave, up to 2 weeks study leave, personal and maternity leave are also offered for permanent positions.
Ideally, candidates will hold board certification with the colleges ACVIM (Oncology), ECVIM (Oncology), RCVS or ANZCVS in Oncology and be eligible for recognition by QVSB as a Medical Oncology Specialist. Consideration will be given to those who are Board eligible and scheduled to sit their examinations. You must be eligible to practice as a Veterinarian in Western Australia.
