Northwest Animal Clinic is a well-established, 2 doctor small animal practice located in Albuquerque’s North Valley. We are independently owned which gives our doctors the freedom to craft treatment plans that fit the patient and client.

We offer great life/work balance. A full time position consists of 4 days per week and we are closed evenings and weekends.

A part time position of either 2 or 3 days per week is also an option.

We have:

5:1 staff: DVM ratio, including 2 RVTs and 2 RVTs-in-training. Our loyal staff average 9 years with the practice. This staffing level allows you to focus on being a doctor while you let your technicians use their skills.

monitor for you

ICU cages with oxygen and climate control

A mix of outpatient and surgery days to fit your interests

You will:

Become part of a well-established and well-respected practice where you can thrive in your chosen profession

Be paid a generous salary ($115,000-150,000 annually, depending on skills and
experience) without worrying about production goals or negative accrual

Work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day with a 1 hour scheduled lunch

Have the opportunity for 2 or 3 day work week

Be scheduled for 30 minute appointments with a minimum 1 hour block per day for files
and call-backs

Have all weekends and evenings off

Have the freedom to develop your own niche and pursue your areas of interest

Have access to mentoring, if desired, from experienced clinicians

Take part in collaboration of complex cases

Have the ability to refer when you feel it is in your patient’s best interest
