Pets R Family Veterinary Hospital was built from scratch 8 years ago by Dr. Kathleen Deckard and her husband Brad, so is a privately owner practice. Our hospital is 11,000 sq feet and is situated amongst a nature preserve in a community that has exploded with growth over the last 8 years. Dr. Deckard absolutely LOVES what she does and is still excited about working up challenging cases and learning new things. We have a team that works hard together and plays together. Our team is very organized with a high support staff to doctor ratio. We are continually investing in new equipment such as a LigaSure, Digatherm, high quality ultrasound and K-laser and recently added PRP injections and a CT scanner. We currently have a 5.5 doctor team with 22 supporting technicians and a technician manager and assistant manager. Each department has lead technicians as well to keep things running smoothly - surgery, hospital, lab, & pharmacy. You wont' regret checking us out! We do see exotic animals, but experience in that is not required. We do not see birds.

Looking for a DVM who wants to join a team of 5.5 doctors in a place where we care about our staff, clients and patients. Will take someone looking for either part time or full time hours. Our practice is very busy but we have evolved to manage the case load and have a large technical staff to help the veterinarians focus on doing their job.  We are a cat friendly practice with an exam room dedicated to feline only patients. We reinvest in the practice continually with new equipment and have a beautiful facility. You will be proud to work here!

Pets R Family Veterinary Hospital was founded in 2015 and is owned and operated by Dr. Kathleen Deckard and her husband Brad Deckard. We have an amazing fast-growing business that has grown 30% year after year with no signs of slowing down. Our facility is 11,000 sq feet and is located in St. Johns, Florida which is the fastest growing community in FL and has the best rated school system in the country. We pride ourselves on high quality service, top notch medicine & surgery with a technical team that is incredible. Our hospital is technician led so that our doctors can focus on what's important. We have an amazing management team and many technician department leads. We are a fun group with a strong culture agreement that we hold everyone to follow.
