Required Education:

A unique opportunity is available for a veterinary spay neuter surgeon to work with our non-profit as a spay neuter surgeon. We are looking for a DVM to work performing s/n surgeries at our stationary clinic one day per week. At our stationary clinic we perform both canine and feline surgeries. We also have additional relief work on our mobile clinic, as need, if desired. We are looking for a special individual dedicated to reducing overpopulation in Orange County, New York.
Must be a DVM and skilled surgeon in high volume, high quality spay/neuter surgeries and techniques. Must have experience performing pediatric, cryptorchid and pregnancy surgeries. We are looking for someone with good teamwork abilities and a strong desire to make a difference for the welfare of animals.
We are a non-profit organization located in Orange county, N.Y., Our mission is to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in our community. We do this through targeted, high quality, high volume, low-cost, spay/neuter. We provide pre-operative wellness and basic medical care, on the day of surgery. We provide our service both on a mobile clinic and stationary clinic. Our mobile clinic performs on average between 40 and 60 cat surgeries per day. Our Stationary clinic performs approximately 40 dog and 30 cat surgeries daily. In addition we also provide dental clinics and weekly vaccine clinics, this helps prevent people from surrendering their pets to shelters because of lack of funding. Our orginization has been operating our spay neuter clinics since 2002.
