Summerville Animal Hospital in Phenix City, AL is hiring another talented, energetic, and well-rounded veterinarian to our multi-doctor practice to continue the high standard of care we strive to perform. Orthopedic surgeries are a large part of our practice and this is a skill that could be taught if there was interest. We offer a generous annual CE allowance that can be used towards orthopedic training or towards an area of veterinary medicine that interests you. To complement the high quality of care we provide, we have in-house laboratory capabilities, digital radiography, a surgical laser, ultrasound and surgical suites and dentistry areas are completely separate.

Phenix City is right across the Chattahoochee River from Columbus, GA and is perfectly situated to be only a 1.5 hour drive from Atlanta, Macon, Montgomery, and Albany, GA. Being on the Chattahoochee River, there is endless kayaking, paddle boarding, tubing and fishing.  Columbus has a rich history with its part in the Civil War, and it is known for its beautiful, Victorian architecture. The Coca-Cola Space Museum has its home here, too, for those weekends with the family.  The Columbus Riverwalk is sure to provide endless hours of walks and education through the Chattahoochee Promenade. Auburn University is a short 40-minute drive away.
