Jonesville Animal Hospital is a privately-owned, Fear Free certified small animal practice located in Newberry, Florida, just a few miles down the road from The University of Florida. The Gainesville/Newberry area is a vibrant college town and family and pet friendly area that offers a variety of spectator sports, art, music, museums, and outdoor activities. Our 4-doctor small animal hospital specializes in providing high quality, compassionate, and convenient care for our patients. As a fear Free certified practice, we emphasize the emotional and physical well being of our patients. We recognize the importance of the human-animal bond and we see our clients and patients as extended family. We offer a complete array of services including medicine, surgery, dentistry, wellness care, behavioral consultation, bathing, ultrasound, and laser therapy. Our doctors work collaboratively and are committed to offering the latest and greatest in veterinary diagnostics and therapeutics. Exceptional client service and professional client communication is emphasized in all positions.
Qualified candidates must have at least two years of experience in general practice, enjoy building relationships with clients, and be dedicated to client communication. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and multi-tasker, be efficient and detail oriented, and embrace low stress handling methods and Fear Free principles. As an employer of choice, we offer an outstanding benefit package that includes: 401K with profit sharing, health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, CE allowance, payment of license fees and professional dues, liability insurance, VIN membership, uniform allowance, and pet care discounts. We offer a starting salary of $120,000-150,000 with the potential for a retention bonus for the right candidate.
A Florida veterinary license is required.
