Are you looking for more work-life balance? Are you interested in practicing in a small, close-knit community that is less than an hour from a large metropolitan area?
Veterinary Associate needed for a well-established practice in Middle Tennessee. Our practice has been in operation for over 40 years, and we are located roughly 40 miles west of Nashville, TN in Hickman County. We are equipped with ultrasound, laser, digital radiology, in-house laboratories, and chemistries. We do offer house and farm calls and have a fully equipped vet truck.
We welcome small or large animal practitioners. Experience level isn't important. We are more interested in someone who loves the patients they treat and the practice they work in.
This is a general practice that is open 5 days a week, with no weekends. Thanks to several options for emergency services in the area, we do not offer after-hours or emergency services. We believe in family time and strive to achieve a good balance between work and personal life.
Candidate must be able to develop rapport with clients and be able to effectively communicate diagnosis and treatment plans, have respect for and a willingness to work with clients and their pets, have a positive and friendly attitude, and the ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members. You must have a good sense of humor! We are professionals who enjoy having fun while we work.
Applicant requirements include Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, and licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Tennessee.
