Pet Central Animal Hospital is excited to welcome clinical-year DVM students seeking externship opportunities! We can accommodate two and four-week arrangements, plus we offer a $750/week stipend to offset travel expenses. We are located in the amazing Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood and we're an easy commute from University of Minnesota!
A clinical externship with us involves working alongside our 6-DVM team, who has a long history of supporting and mentoring externs. You'll also have the ability to:
Collaborate within our eight exam room hospital, complete with a hospitalization area, surgery suite, and in-house lab
Refine your animal restraint and technical skills, with the ability to also work with pocket pets
Observe and participate in routine and emergency examinations, diagnostic interpretations, and surgical and dental procedures
