As a Veterinary Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of our animal patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, monitoring anesthesia, and providing post-operative care. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and assisting in educating pet owners about proper post-surgical care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine and surgery, possess excellent technical skills, and demonstrate compassion and empathy towards animals. Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure are essential qualities for this role. Previous experience in a surgical setting and certification as a Surgical Technician are highly desirable.
