We are seeking a Veterinary Nurse Administrator. In this new leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the veterinary nursing team and supporting clinical operations. This role involves strategic management, ensuring that nursing staff deliver high-quality care to animals while maintaining efficient and effective clinical support for veterinary teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Leadership and Management: Directing, mentoring and supervising veterinary nurse supervisors and their teams. Ensuring a well-trained, motivated, and effective team.
Clinical Operations Oversight: Ensuring that veterinary nurse services are delivered in line with best practices, regulations, and organizational goals. This includes overseeing patient care, medical protocols, and treatment plans.
Training and Development: Developing continuing education programs for nursing staff, ensuring professional development, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of veterinary practices and technology.
Collaboration with Veterinary Team: Working closely with veterinarians and other clinical staff to coordinate care, improve processes, and enhance patient outcomes.
Budget and Resource Management: Overseeing the allocation of resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials, ensuring efficient use of the clinic and hospital's budget.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines in the provision of veterinary nursing care. Developing policies for patient care and clinical support operations.
