Family Tree Animal Clinic in Milton, Georgia, is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Relief Veterinarian.
At Family Tree Animal Clinic, we are passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond by providing exceptional care to pets and their families in our community. Our state-of-the-art, canine- and feline-exclusive general practice operates in a paperless environment and offers a range of services, including in-house diagnostics, surgery, dental procedures, digital whole-body and dental X-rays, and ultrasound. Our dedicated team of professionals is eager to support you.
As a Relief Veterinarian, you will:
Examine animals to diagnose illnesses or injuries.
Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, dressing wounds, or performing minor surgical procedures.
Administer vaccinations, including rabies and distemper.
Collect and analyze samples such as body tissue, feces, blood, and urine.
Operate and interpret diagnostic equipment, including radiography and ultrasound.
Provide client education on pet care, including nutrition, disease prevention, and general wellness.
Advise pet owners on zoonotic diseases and public health concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
License to practice veterinary medicine in Georgia
Valid DEA License
3+ years of experience as a DVM
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess professional liability insurance.
Must have workers' compensation insurance coverage.
