We are a fast-paced, high volume spay/neuter stationary clinic located in Macon, GA seeking RVT or experienced assistant/nurse for our team.  We work Monday - Thursday, approximately 7.5 to 8 hours per day.  We have a team of 2 veterinarians and perform 40-45 surgeries per day.  You must be able to work independently and efficiently, but also as a team when necessary.  www.nolitters.org   email: shelton.nolitters@yahoo.com 

Excellent knowledge base of animal husbandry and care

Able to lift up to 60 lbs without assistance and up to 125 lbs with assistance 

Stand for long periods of time, lift, bend, and squat

Monitor animals pre and post operatively 

Keep animals and cages clean 

Follow in monthly rotation to different stages allowing continuity of care for all 

Sort, wrap, and sterilize surgical packs

Excellent verbal communication skills when dealing with pet owners 

Prefer nonsmoker as we do not provide for smoke breaks
